Relationship classes created in ArcPro get long name and seem to ignore labels

Hope this is the right spot.

This one is driving me a bit nuts.  I think it is caused by:  If the relate was created in ArcMap relationship classes are using short names from the labels and look fine.  But any relate made in Pro is getting these super long names making it impossible to read the related name since all of them are the same name of SomethingDBO..

I have checked the properties of the relates and I can see no difference at all between ones with short or long names.  Anyone know how I can fix this?  Not sure why Pro is doing this.

Try setting the alias on the table/feature class on the other side of the relationship. I also found that if the table/class is in my map and I change the alias of the layer (then restart pro) it will use the layer name.
