Play with the archive history

Hi,

we have a user that has done some field calculator calculations on the database with archiving enabled. Obviously it took some iterations to do it right ;-D 

As there is archiving on the table, and as it has been done for all features in the table, we now have alot of weird history 🙂

I know that i have to be careful working with the archive function. But my best guess is to do manual updates taking care of the gdb_from_date and gdb_to_date and gdb_archive_oid. This seems like a rather complex task to do (but nevertheless possible through for instance FME).

But i would like to know if there is any other way to clean up the archive? A tool or something that makes it easy to work with? Or other ideas / reflections ?
