Len Query in File Geodatabase

I can do len query easily in Personal geodatabase. But when I  try to do this query in File geodatabase , appear error. Queries ex:

Len ([field]) = 13      (personal geodatabase)

Len ("Field") = 13     (file geodatabase)

How Can I do this query in File geodatabase?

Select by attribute using Arc Map 10.1

Try CHAR_LENGTH()

or try the python parser but len would be lowercase and for file geodatabases, double-quotes or no quotes should work.  When building the expression, it is also best not to type anything, but select elements from the dialog to get the correct spacing and syntax... see Darren's link for more details.

... of course, Select By Attribute has no Python parser...
