Featureclass extent isnt retained on xml import

Hi All,

I believe I am doing very basic activity but puzzled with the result.

I have featureclass which has certain number of records. This featureclass have all other properties like extent, spatial reference etc available. Now I want to export schema of this FC and import into other enterprise geodatabase. I used OOTB export xml schema and import xml schema tools (schema only) but then extent of source FC isnt there in new FC created by import of xml in new enterprise geodatabase. Is this correct? What I can do to retain original extent values? Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

The extent is based on the feature(s) in the feature class. Therefore, if we are conducting a schema only, I would not expect for the extent to be created.
