Error: Cannot upgrade because there are other active connections (DBO)

Hi

I am getting the following error while upgrading geodatabase 

Error: Cannot upgrade because there are other active connections (DBO). 

Though there is no open/active connection to DB, any one face this issue and any probable solution to this ?

Does the locks / connections table say there is nothing connecting (except the client you are using for the upgrade)?

Are there any services that are published from that enterprise geodatabase as reference?

Manage to resolve the error after alter the user-mapping and provide SDE as dbowner
