Is there a possibility to change attribute definitions (double to short integer) in a multiuser geodatabase with underlying database tools instead of Arcmap? It is possible but the sde tables are not updated, so inside ArcGIS the geodata shows old definitions and no data values. Is there a way to manage this? Changing in ArcMap needs a lot of time and is not very comfortable (adding new colums, copying, ect.) and database triggers get lost.
