This question pertains to water contaminant data that could increase as new contaminants are added to the list with 3 fields characterizing each contaminant. This data will be used in ArcGIS Server, AGOL, and/or Portal for GIS based web applications.
Would it be better to store this data in a flat file or would related tables make for a more scalable design? Are there any gotchas for either design?
Any help or hints are greatly appreciated.
