Hi everyone! My name is Mohan, an architect/urban designer and a GIS enthusiast. I'm thrilled to join the Esri YPN!

As an urban designer transitioning into spatial analysis, I'm eager to connect with other passionate GIS professionals and learn from this vibrant community. I'm really fascinated to see how the contributions made in the community help people to grow their GIS skills.

Please feel free to connect with me! I'd love to hear about your work and discuss the exciting ways we can leverage geospatial technology to build better cities.

I hope my contributions to the community are helpful. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mohan, welcome to the YPN. I'm new here as well and looking to learn how others are using GIS in their careers and workflows. How do you use ESRI technology as an architect/urban designer?

Hi Sean! I predominantly work on the Urban Planning projects. My focus has mostly been on

1. Land Use and Scenario Planning: Model different urban development scenarios, such as density increases, transportation improvements, and land use changes, to assess their potential impacts.

2. Traffic & Pedestrian Flow Analysis: Simulate traffic flow and pedestrian movement patterns to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize transportation infrastructure.
