Hi! My name is Vivian. I am a GIS Analyst with Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and a recent graduate of Stanford University's Doerr School of Sustainability (M.S. / B.S. Earth Systems). I'm hoping to use this space to connect with other young professionals as we navigate this constantly-evolving field together! I'm based in Santa Barbara, so I am eager to develop relationships with the GIS community here in SoCal.
I am also a performing artist, so I'm super interested in connecting with other folks who are passionate about bringing the arts and sciences together. One of my favorite aspects of GIS is the storytelling element, so, I always keep my eyes peeled for cool cartography tricks!
