Hello fellow GIS lovers!

My name is Liv Davis, and I'm thrilled to be part of a community of fellow GIS enthusiasts.

My primary research interest is leveraging GIS to identify intersections of hazard, exposure, and susceptibility related to climate hazards, specifically extreme heat and high winds. I look forward to connecting with natural hazard and climate change impact geographers.

I am currently exploring best practices for creating public-facing dashboards to display climate hazard information. Does anyone have any best practices or recommendations for designing these tools to be best suited for community use?

Hey Liv,

Just connected with you on LinkedIn.

I have been working on more experience builders than dashboards, but think this advice would work for either. I have found a lot of success with the ESRI trainings, and other youtube videos showcasing workflows for how people have set up theirs. From looking at other workflows and examples, it typically gives me a good place to start a new project with some inspiration.
