One of my clients is planning a transition from Desktop to Enterprise (I'm pretty new to GIS, I support them in another capacity). I was thinking about how to be of maximum value to them in their transition, I found six Enterprise learning plans, each plan requiring a different set of courses. The entire matrix  related to learning plans and courses is below.

Where to begin??? is my dilemma. I appreciate that one answer is that I should just LEARN EVERYTHING in the matrix, but that isn't really practical. It feels like years, honestly, to do everything in the table.

It seems to me I should start with Administration Essentials and Installation Fundamentals. Do Enterprise trainers concur?

Six Enterprise training paths:

ArcGIS Enterprise: Administration Essentials

ArcGIS Enterprise: Installation Fundamentals

ArcGIS Enterprise: Security

ArcGIS Enterprise: Data and Services

Esri Enterprise Administration Professional Certification 19-001

Esri Enterprise Geodata Management Professional Certification 19-001

Hi Peter, it sounds like enterprise administration is the area you're focused on supporting, so yes, I'd suggest the first two learning paths.

Hi Peter, the training you choose depends on what workflows you'll be supporting and whether your client will be using ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro with ArcGIS Enterprise. If you'll be supporting enterprise administration, the first two instructor-led classes you marked above are highly recommended and great options to ask questions and get answers right away.

Thank you, do you mean the "Administration Workflows" and "Configuring a Base Deployment"? Thank you. I already know how to use the ArcGIS Pro and ArcMAP clients, fortunately.

Should I focus on the first two columns, the first two learning paths? Administration Essentials, and Installation Fundamentals?
