Esri User Conference 2025 - Public Works Track

The Esri User Conference (UC) is quickly approaching and features numerous presentations and events covering the full breadth of the public works profession, as well as many other industries. The Esri public works team has done the legwork and compiled a comprehensive list of sessions, presentations, and special interest groups that will help you stay informed about all things public works at the largest GIS conference in the world!

We have both a PDF flyer of industry-centric sessions you won't want to miss, limited to two pages. If you are looking to fill up your entire UC agenda with public works information from both a product and industry perspective, we have provided an extensive digital agenda that you can access and directly add to your calendar once registered to attend the conference. Use one, use both—whatever you do, just make sure you register for the Public Works Special Interest Group because reservations are required and space is limited!

In the lead up to 2025 ESRI User Conference, I was pleased to see this post, with very useful information about Public Works track.

I have been seeking students and young professionals who may have been wanting to get involved in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) challenge.  If you are not yet as the experienced pro levels, and have been asking yourself "...some of the questions, ( you'll probably have some questions about the SDGs):

  • How can I make the most of Esri UC?
  • What is Esri doing in the area of AI?
  • How can ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise work better together?
  • How is Esri improving in the following areas?
    • Technical support
    • Documentation
    • The user experience in ArcGIS
  • Allow me to provide a link to the 2025 Sustainable Development report - Sustainable Development 2025 information of importance    (if you are interested in rural community development, turn to pages 238-239 to Kenya - 2025 rankings against all 17 SDG.   Lots of work to be done, not only adding new general data, but mapping, spatially analyzing and doing project work breaking down national statistics to regional or county levels.

Post a reply anyone who might be interested in getting involved in the SDG challenge, not only for Kenya, but any country you are most interested in putting in research time....
