I purchased the ebook titled GIS Tutorial 2: Spatial Analysis Workbook 10.3x , which directed me to the esri.com book resources section. However, this book is no longer on this page and the learngis website which has other book's tutorial and exercise data also has no sign of my assigned book. Is this data still available somewhere that I can download? I cannot find the exercises anywhere.

Hello,

The data for this book was made inactive because it is out of print; however, the e-book is still available. I can provide you with a direct download link here. It's worth noting, too, that if your students purchase or rent the print book but need to use the EVA code in the back cover, it may have been used by a previous owner and those aren't replaceable or renewable. Please let me know if you have trouble with the link. Thanks!

Yes, thank you Dan.  I am not using 10.3.  However, do you know where I can get the data for this particular book anyways?  I am using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 and moving my students into Pro 2.8 in middle of the semester.  I need this data as a refresher for students who have not used ArcGIS for a while and can go through these tutorials to catch up and move on to the new stuff.  I have updated most of my courses but waiting on updated ArcGIS Pro book on Lining Up Data.  I will update this course for both of these books in the next semester. In the meantime, my students have ordered this book for this semester and I did not know the data link was removed. Any help in gaining access to this data would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Holly,

I just responded to the first message initiating this thread regarding the data, but I did want to note your other comments about Lining Up Data. There are currently no plans to publish a new edition, so the third edition is still the most recent. Hope that helps with your course planning!
