Besides continuing to offer authoritative books to support your use of Esri products and applications, we now offer:
- Free e-book access for students: Students who have been impacted by campus closures can access any of our e-books via VitalSource for free through May 25, 2020. Those outside of the US, the United Kingdom, and Canada can contact us directly at esripress@esri.com.
- Courseware options for select e-books: To support students and educators in a digital classroom environment, we’re introducing courseware options with our e-books available through the VitalSource platform. Students can easily identify which e-books have a software trial included and choose to either rent or purchase their e-textbook. Included instructions on how to activate the trial make it easy for you to start your coursework right away.
- Starting in 2020, new ArcGIS Pro books will be published, based on the Summer release of ArcGIS Pro. These books will be ready for the Fall semester and will give students access to the latest information and resources. For example, Getting to Know ArcGIS Pro 2.6, GIS Tutorial for ArcGIS Pro 2.6, and Understanding GIS: An ArcGIS Pro 2.6 Project Workbook, will be available for Fall 2020 classes; first in e-book formats then in print. - Lindsey the GIS Professional: the first Esri Press offering for K-12 students, teachers, and parents, and the first in a series of STEAM-based career picture books, it includes fun, online activities as well as, teaching resources, including how it applies to educational standards (NGSS, C3, and international).
And we continue to offer all new titles (since 2015) in print and e-book formats, for purchase or rental. Plus, if your instructor introduces our book into your classroom, you will have access to the new digital platform VitalSource and all its features, as well as e-textbook rentals (with up-to 70% off the list price).
