UC 2023: Partner Training Services Engagement
Partners: Connect with Training Services at the UC 2023
The Esri User Conference 2023 is right around the corner and the anticipation has been building at Esri as well as within our Partner Network! Whether this is your first time attending as an Esri Partner or you've attended for years and have a booth in the UC Showcase, there's always something new to explore and learn throughout the week.
During the conference, Training Services will be offering both onsite and virtual attendees a range of learning and networking opportunities to help partners and their employees further their GIS goals. While there are a few key options noted below, be sure to read the Training Services 2023 UC blog or download and save our Training Services Agenda flier to view our full schedule throughout the week. Or, you can view the detailed UC agenda to view all UC sessions and events.
Training Booth in the UC Showcase:
- Stop by the Esri Training booth at the Esri Services area located near the center of the showcase to discuss training, technical certification, or other topics related to your GIS adoption and awareness goals as an individual or partner organization.
- The Esri Partner Program Training Consultant Marc Weniger will be onsite Tuesday, July 11th through Thursday, July 13th to answer any training questions you may have. Schedule an appointment speak with him one-on-one using the Esri Services Appointments site and selecting the 'Strategic Workforce Development' option.
Expo Spotlight Talks:
- Be sure to join our Expo Spotlight Talks on Wednesday, July 12th to learn more about the Esri Academy, workforce development strategies, and how technical certification can help advance your GIS career as a professional, or your geospatial strategy as a partner.
- Grow Your GIS Workforce with Esri Training | 10:40-11:00AM PT - Are you a technical leader or manager in your organization trying to understand how providing training to your employees can positively impact and sustain your GIS program? Be sure to attend this spotlight talk to learn more!
- Esri Academy: An Introduction | 2:30-2:50 PM PT - Are you new to Esri Training and the hundreds of resources available to you and your organization to help you achieve your learning goals? Attend this spotlight talk to familiarize yourself with the Esri Academy and how you can create custom learning plans for you or your team.
- Esri Technical Certification: Advancing GIS Careers and Programs | 3:10-3:30 PM PT - Esri Technical Certification is a hot topic in the Partner Program given its benefits of career development for employees as well as furthering the geospatial goals of an organization. Find out how you can validate your GIS expertise by attending this spotlight talk!
- Adoption Strategies: You Built Your GIS, Now How Do You Get People to Use It? | 10:00-10:20 AM PT - Attend this talk to explore a structured approach to an adoption strategy that ensures the solutions you create attract the adoption needed to drive value for your organization and elevate GIS awareness.
Hands-On Learning Lab:
- Attend the Hands-On Learning Lab to take free self-paced lessons on a variety of GIS and ArcGIS topics. Seek out this opportunity to learn something new, build up your existing ArcGIS skillset, and connect with an Esri expert. Please view the attached lesson list pdf and read this blog to learn more.
