I encountered an error while attempting to use the apply asset package tool. The issue was, apparently, that an extra digit needs to be removed in the domain codes for Electric_High_Voltage_Transformer_VA. This comes from the Electric Utility Network Foundation. There are actually repeat Description values with different coded values. It looks like I will need to edit this domain in the foundation. Are there any more issues like this in the Electric Utility Network Foundation?

If you had a map open or a map containing a reference to the target UN, you will encounter this error.  I would suggest trying again, but using a Pro Project that does not have a map in it.

The same error occurs whether its a fresh project or not - the only way to resolve is to delete the duplicate rows in the domain. Then other issues start occuring for me with domain values being renamed with the rename table causing issues. e.g.

The asset package has the following errors (100/323):
Item Field OID Value Message Level
0 Asset_Type_Electric_Assembly_Electric_Grounding_Equipment None None 30|Support Equipment Domain code|description must be 30|Grounding Equipment error
1 Asset_Type_Electric_Device_Ground None None 32|Ground Rod Domain code|description must be 32|Rod error
2 Asset_Type_Electric_Device_Ground None None 35|Ground Component Domain code|description must be 35|Grounding Switch error
3 Asset_Type_Electric_Device_High_Voltage_Control_Unit None None 42|Switch and Breaker - HV Domain code|description must be 42|Switch and Breaker HV error
4 Asset_Type_Electric_Device_High_Voltage_Fuse None None 583|Fused Load Break Disconnect - HV Domain code|description must be 583|AC Load Break Disconnect Fuse HV error.......

Hi Danielle

I think this is a different scenario that may be related to renaming things.  Can you email directly at jalsup@esri.com.  Can you include the workflow you used?

Hi John,

Was there a resolution for this issue? I tried applying an asset package from a client to our enterprise utility network and get the same repeating domain description error. My ArcGIS Pro is 3.1.7.41833, untools is 3.1.2, UN 6 and ArcGIS Enterprise is 11.0

Thanks,

Tariq
