Change the spatial reference of an Asset Package

The data models included with the industry configurations for the ArcGIS Utility Network Management extension are provided as an Asset Package.  We ship the asset packages with sample data and a predefined spatial reference.  We have been asked a number of times what is the best way to change the spatial reference of an asset package.  We added the function to do this in the 2.1.0.1 update of the untools python package that install and support the Utility Network Package Tools.  We were not able to wrap up toolbox to expose it though, so we are providing you a preview of that tool box here.  The set up is simple, install the Utility Network Package Tools, unzip the attached file and open the toolbox.

Also, we found that the spatial index needs to be reset after you change the spatial reference.  We will automaticlly do this in the future, but that logic is not in the 2.1.0.1 version of the untools.  For now, please run Add Spatial Index for all the feature classes in the Asset Package.
