Using Modern GIS Tools to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
August 7-10

Location: Harrisburg Area Community College - Gettysburg Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325

Participants must arrange their own travel. The GeoTech Center has held a block of rooms at the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg for a rate of $109+tx/night. To get this rate you must CALL the hotel directly at 866-953-4483. Reservations by attendees must be received on or before July 7, 2023. Use the group name GeoTech Center. Individual reservations must be cancelled no later than 7 days prior to intended arrival in order to avoid a cancellation penalty of one night room and tax.

Participants in this workshop will create DEI curriculum for use in one of their classes. There will be a $600 stipend for attending and completing the workshop and a $500 stipend for submitting the workshop deliverables. On the application below, each participant must provide a project title and summary for the curriculum that will be created.
