We are looking at getting a fleet of UAVs for various projects within our division and are running into some confusion.  Are there any requirements beyond being able to take HQ images or video required for being able to import data from the UAV to Drone2Map?  We've asked several people--both within Esri and third party--and have received various answers.  Basically, what we are looking to know is that is if there is a preferred brand or model that works best (because I know steering to a specific brand a no no) with Esri products?  What separates a $600 Solo from a $100,000+ system when it comes to how the data is used by Drone2Map?  We are looking at making a purchase sometime soon and have been breaking down the differences between and just want to be sure that if we spend the money on a few Inspire 1's or an Aeryon Skyranger that we won't be limited in any way.

The post before yours got no responses.  I will flag the site owner  Cody Benkelman to see if it is still active or whether any information beyond opinion can be cited for you to look at.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much traffic going through the Drone group.  I figured that may have changed with the public release of Drone2Map... Worth a shot!
