Two questions: Elevation layer and production API

Hello,

I have two questions:
1. Do you have elevation data layer to add to the map for e.g. mountains or anything really above sea level?

2. My prototype goes through three stages: dev-stage-lab. Do I need to purchase API key to move it to lab (currently it is our prod environment)? We are planning on going into production within the next two-three months. What are the quotes and rules for free API vs paid one?

1. It depends what you want to achieve as your end result. You can check this ArcGIS Elevation service | Esri Developer REST APIs documentation | Esri Developer or this Elevation Layers - Overview

2. You can use a combination of OAUTH/API Keys and benefit from the usage of Python API.

OAuth and API Keys are included with any ArcGIS Online subscription

another follow up question. For elevation pricing, it says 50K are free and then $1 for each 1000. Are 1000 hovers or clicks? What are they? Thank you!

ArcGIS Elevation service | Esri Developer REST APIs documentation | Esri Developer this is only available if you are using ArcGIS Location Platform and not ArcGIS Online.

Sorry, you said this is only available when we are using location platform and not online platform. Do you mean that elevation is not available on the online platform? Can you please elaborate?

In ArcGIS Online you have the Elevation Layers from the group that I shared.

In ArcGIS Location Platform you can use the Elevation Service.
