For example, if I want to label a feature using place names the default is to create a label with the name all on one line.  How can I split text so that a lable, for example "Wichita State University", puts "Wichita State" on one line and "
"University" on a second line (centered) below it.

Unfortunately, at the moment, multi-line labeling cannot be done in AGOL.

Consult the following links for more info:

Arcade Text Constant for TextFormatting.NewLine is adding space instead of new line

ArcGIS Online Help: Create Labels  ... "The map viewer does not support multiline labeling."
