Good Day Community,

Can the "ArcMap for MS Office" add-in be configured to launch from and use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer?

Thank you for your time and help.

according to this, it isn't an esri problem

** ArcGIS Maps for Office uses JavaScript within a web browser to display maps. Because Microsoft Excel requires the use of Internet Explorer (IE) to display web content, there is no option to use another browser. Functionality within the app requires the use of IE9 or later; older versions are not supported.

But you can confirm http://doc.arcgis.com/en/maps-for-office/#systemRequirements
