I wish for an app that displays the ArcGIS Online map, but without the possibility of other people editing it.
So kind of like what the ArcGIS Online maps are, but a pure display map.
My example is:
I work with different public wms-layers and try to find suitable locations for solar power plants. When I find a location I make a new sketchlayer, draws a polygon of the area and place a marker. I add all the information about why I think the area is suitable in the popup-function of the marker. I do this for every location.
So what I wish for is an app (preferably that updates with the set Online map) that is simplified and "for display only". For the viewer it should display the map in a set max extent (with possibility to zoom in). The viewer should be able to navigate around the map and click on the different items (location markers) in display and get the popup info, just like in ArcGIS Online but without the possibility of doing anything else.
For the author it should be possible to chose what is displayed, such as basemaps and spesific layers.
