Hello! I am wanting to utilize Data Pipelines to automate many of my workflows that involve routinely downloading data from Snowflake and uploading to ArcGIS Online.
My organization uses a browser-based SSO to log in to Snowflake.
When I go to set up a new Snowflake connection in Data Pipelines however, it looks like the authentication dropdown is greyed out. Why would that be? How can I connect to Snowflake using SSO?

Hi @michelle-maps ,
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
SSO authentication for Snowflake is not currently supported for use in Data Pipelines. For now, you may need to work with your organizations administrator or Snowflake administrator to create a set of Snowflake credentials that you can use for Data Pipelines.
Thanks again,
Bethany

Thank you for the response @BethanyScott! Is SSO support going to be on the roadmap for Snowflake Data Pipelines anytime soon?
Hi @michelle-maps ,
It is not currently on the near- or long-term roadmap. However, we are tracking your request for planning purposes.
Thank you again - we value your feedback!

@BethanyScott Is there a plan to update the Snowflake Data Pipeline, given Snowflake's recent announcement that they strongly recommend using SSO or key pair authentication?
