Monitoring/alerting data pipelines automatically. If there were an automatic scheduling/triggering of data pipelines, we would prefer to monitor all runs of the data pipelines. Preferably, a REST API would give run success/failure results, but a Graphical User Interface would work too.

@DavidLovesArcGIS - you can use "Manage Scheduling" to view success/failure. I believe this would satisfy your "Graphical Interface" suggestion.

However, an email notification would be great as discussed in this post: https://community.esri.com/t5/data-pipelines-questions/schedule-notificaiton-on-schedule-data-pipeli...

To answer those questions posted by @BethanyScott :

  1. What information, links, etc. would you expect to be included in the email? Name of Flow (link if possible) and run date.
  2. Would you expect to be able to create a custom subject and content for the email? Would be nice but not necessary for a first go.

Status changed to: Needs Clarification

Good news! With the February 2026 update to ArcGIS Data Pipelines in ArcGIS Online, we added a new beta capability which is the ability to opt in to receive email notifications for failed data pipeline run tasks.

To read more about it, and other update in the release, check out the related blog: What's New in ArcGIS Data Pipelines (February 2026).

If you can, try it out and share your feedback with us on the Data Pipelines Beta Features Community Forum. Thank you.
