Hi,

I have a simple geodatabase with a test version and the default version.  The test version is public and my test user is the dbo.  In ArcMap I want to click on the Versions Changes button to see the difference but the option is greyed out.  I can reconcile and post but still the Version Changes button is greyed out.  Ug what am I doing wrong!

Make sure that you have the data source selected in the Table of Contents.  In ArcMap go to the top of the Table of Contents and select 'List By Source'.  Then select the data source and the 'Change Version' tool should become active.

I think the help files should be updated to read:

"To open the dialog box, select a workspace from the source tab in the table of contents window and click the Version Changes button"

I was looking for some sort of source tab on one of the dialog boxes pertaining to versions.  A Google search led me here.
