For Caching to increase the speed of a map service. What is the best imagery format to start with, should the image be in .sid, inside an SDE Geodatabase, or a .tiff?
or does it matter? any helpful recommendations would be much appreciated.
I do not have Image Server, no need. I only have a 400mb aerial photo that I use for my basemap. I am trying to decide the best way to store it and use it for Caching.
