Can someone tell me how to import an ESRI Shapefile into AutoCAD 2013 (Note: I do not have AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD Map, or AutoCAD Civil)?

Hola Timothy,

I was able to locate the following, which seems to allow you to import a shapefile into AutoCAD 2013. Gracias, Timothy!

Here's a silly question, Timothy: do you have ArcGIS?

If so, export the shapefile to CAD.

Lucky you...AutoCAD 2013 has no problem reading earlier AutoCAD files.

Export to CAD won't create a 2013 file, but it will create a 2010 file which can be easily read by AutoCAD 2013.

Yup...I can help with that.

I bet your text is from labels?  ExportCAD will create CAD text from geodatabase annotation.  So create annotation from your labels and export the resultant annotation feature class, appending to your existing CAD file.
