SDE Reconciliation question

Hello, I am trying to reconcile my SDE and it is taking a very long time. It's been running for approximately 36 hours. I know this depends on the amount of data but is there a parameter I can guide myself on the time it should take? I am thinking of stopping the process but I am afraid of damaging data. Any help is appreciated.
