Raster to Polygon Failure when converting ERDAS Imagine Raster Image to Polygon

Good Afternoon.

I am trying to convert an ERDAS Imagine image file (Raster) into an ArcGIS Polygon (Shapefile).

I have used Arc's Spatial Analyst as well as Raster to Polygon conversion in ArcToolBox and come up with the same
Error 010240 C:\Temp\g_g_4 error saving raster output in GRID format.

This error occurs both with Spatial Analyst and Convert in ArcTool Box.

Anyone had this problem before ?

I'm having the same problem while using several Spatial Analysis tools and I can't find how to fix it. Does anyone know what to do here?
