raster to point conversion for cropland data

I am using the cropland data layer made available by Cropscape tool. The raster map has data for different crops. I wish to read each crop for eg:- corn as a separate layer for further analysis. How can individually extract or use each crop data? Using the conversion tool from raster to point yields a file greater than 2 GB and I get an error.

I would suggest using the Extract by Attributes (Spatial Analyst) tool.  Here is a little more information on the extraction tools.
