About to go CRAZY....I have 1 over all shapefile that has 42 different zones. In that 1 shapefile I will do the "Create Layers From Selected Features" when i need one isolated on its own layer, and then select witch zone i need and create a new layer from it. i was almost done with the project and was checking the zones in the attribute table one still showed all the zones in it. So me being dumb just deleted all other zones that i did not need in that layer which in turn deleted ALL of the others zones that i did the "Create Layers From Selected Features". i have already hit save and was in an edit session but it would not let me "undo" any further back. Is there a way to recover the main shapefile to a certain time or even to yesterday? Any help would be Much appreciated. Thank you

Is it a network drive? You sys admin should be able to recover if your company uses a backup system. If it is your local hard drive, do you have any raid setup of hard drives for backup?

If you are using Windows 7 you should be able to just right click on the folder that the shapefile was stored in and select the "Previous Versions" tab.
You should see previous version of the folder dating back several days.

I hope that helps,
