Greetings

I am reading the documentation in the help file http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisserver/9.3.1/dotnet/index.htm#guide_config_hardware.htm and I have seen in the "Using multiple gdb in Oracle" section that in case of multiple geodatabases in one Oracle database 'There can be only one geodatabase per user schema'. However the associate picture shows several GDB inside the user's schema. How is this possible? Thanks

There isn't a way to have multiple geodatabases in a single Oracle schema.  I'm not sure what image you are referring though.  Can you be more specific on what exactly is causing your confusion?

The document is "http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisserver/9.3/dotNet/index.htm" then open the link "Geodatabases and ArcSDE" then "Administering ArcSDE for Oracle" then the link "Using multiple geodatabases in Oracle". In the middle part of the document under the section "Multiple geodatabases in one Oracle database" the illustration of the User1's schema includes several GDB icons.
My question is about having a single geodatabase per user's schema as stated in this section and then the illustration is attached below. Thanks.

The diagram shows system and user tables inside the sde and user geodatabase. There are a number gdb_* tables in the geodatabase and this is what is being shown. Hope this helps.
