I'm doing an analysis of landuse on 2 sets of raster data. The first landuse raster data is from 1999 with 30 meter ground resolution, and the second is landcover raster data from 2009 with 56 meter ground resolution. I've reclassified the 2009 landuse values to the 1999 values and I want to do a comparison of the percentage and acreage of each landuse category/value from 1999 to 2009. Will there be major data integrity issues in comparing the different resolution datasets? Is this even a valid comparison?
