Dear all.
I hope this is the correct section to pose my problem..
I have downloaded the complete data set of MODIS land cover in HDF format.
I want to combine all the tiles in one large and for that I have used the Mosaic to raster tool under arcmap 10.
To facilitate the process I have divided the data into 10 parts and runned mosaic to new raster is all of them. Everything worked fine until I reached Europe. The HDF tiles from the 17 and 18 columns simply do not get together. The final product of the mosaic to new raster tool is a empty raster...
I tried some things like converting HDF to TIFF and GRID formats but the problem persists with the same empty raster outcome.
I have not changed any of the environments setting for I'm not such experienced user...
Any help on this would be highly welcome..
