Where is the metadata "file" stored in a personal geodatabase (ie. the xml file associated with shapefiles)?
Thanks,

You can find it in 'GDB_Items' table.

I found some of it there in the "Documentation" column, but not everything.  This is what I found:
<metadata xml:lang="en"><eainfo><detailed><enttyp><enttypl>Export_Output</enttypl></enttyp><attr><attrlabl>OBJECTID</attrlabl><attrdef>Internal feature number.</attrdef><attrdefs>Esri</attrdefs><attrdomv><udom>Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically

In arccatalog, I changed the title in the metadata, it must be stored somewhere?
