I need to know how I can make a geodatabase portable. In other words, is there a way that I can give the geodatabase and it's associated layers and catalogs relative references. I know that I can create a map (mxd file) and have it make all layers in the map file have relative path references, but I don't know if I can do that with a geodatabase. My experimentation so far has been inconclusive.
I need to be able to copy a geodatabase from one computer to another, and have the destination geodatabase and it's catalogs have all of the repaired (correct) paths.
So my question is, is it possible to have a relative path setup (or something similar) between a file geodatabase and its MA catalog(s)?
