Intersect attribute table headings

Hello,

I'm using the Intersect tool and exporting the subsequent attribute table to Excel for for further analysis. The problem i'm having is that the headers in the attribute table for the intersected layer appears to not use the headers from the layers used to make the intersected layer. Does anyone know how I can get the correct headers to show when doing an intersect?

Below is an example of some of the headers in the Intersected attribute table. For example in the Counties layer, each field had a helpful heading like GEO_ID, Name, and such.
