Such an image (see attached) was created in arcmap. Does anyone know how you would get an image to appear exactly like this?

Could it  to be 'cubic convolution' smoothing method?

Can you elaborate on what you are currently viewing that makes the image different than what you expect/desire?  Is your current image totally different than what you posted?  Is it close but slightly different?  There are several places where things can go awry with imagery, so post more details.

Looks like there are clouds there.. which probably means it wasn't created in arcmap but added to it

its an imagery dataset . I discovered the cubic resampling method would give such look. I am attempting to resampling the original imagery using the Cubic method using the Resampling tool in Arcmap. However, this process is taking a rather long time. Is this common?
