I am currently working with parcel data from Cook County Illinois' public database. The file contains PIN data for each parcel, and I am attempting to use the PIN information to obtain tax and property value data. The problem is that in the shapefile I downloaded the parcels that have more than one property owner, like a condo, only have one PIN number in the attribute table even though the parcel has the potential to have multiple PIN's associated with it.
In the metadata, which can be downloaded in the About section under Attachments, it outlines all of the supposed data in the file. This includes a PIN table described as an object class table, which includes the additional information that I am looking for.
I am using ArcGIS 10.1. Is there a way to view this table? Or is the metadata referring to another file type like a geodatabase and the shapefile I downloaded doesn't have that additional information?
