I'm trying to download all of the census data available from a single county. When I go through AFF2 that yields over 1000 results, so I'm attempting to go a different way, by using the ftp version of the data for the whole state. So far I've gotten the three different files into one access database, and they should be linked by the LOGRECNO column (although I don't know how to tell if they actually are or not), but now I'm stuck. A tutorial I found mentions something about a query, but I've never used access before so I'm not sure how to do that. I'm also not sure what columns I should use to link to a shapefile since none of the columns from the census files seem to match up with GEOID on the shapefile. Tract and block look to be similar, but all of this ignores that I would only be linking to the Ohgeo2010 file, and not the other two (Oh000012010 and Oh00002210). Doe anyone know if what I'm trying to do is even possible?
