The thing is that I am getting the error 824 using any geoprocessing function, even the functions included in the basic arcgis package (for example getcellvalue).
Is that normal behavior ? What can i do to work with those geofunctions that are not included into extensions (spatial analysts, tracking analyst,etc)
You'll probably get more and better answers in the appropriate forum: Geoprocessing or Spatial Analyst.
From your post, I'll toss out an uneducated guess; are you using the getcellvalue on a raster that isn't a multiband (aka an image)? If so, my guess is you'll need to be licensed for the spatial analyst extension.
