Google Earth to Arc Map

I have extracted some areas from google earth, and saved it in KMZ and KML format, but when i tried to open using ARCmap, it is not seen in the folder..how can i open the Google earth files in Arc map?

I've never tried it but there is a KML to Layer tool in ArcToolbox>Conversion>From KML

I think it's usable across all license levels.
