Failed to Connect to database

I am having an issue connecting to a file geodatabase. I get the attached error message. The fgdb was created in v10.1 SP1, which is what I currently have installed. So, my version of fgdb matches my version of desktop. Anyone have any advice?

This could be an indication that you've been affected by the Microsoft bug which corrupts
file geodatabases.
