I have probelms when exporting a 'layout geotiff' from the layout frame, arcive-export map. I have a geotiff and some overlaying shapes that I want to embed in a new geotiff (all files have the same coordinate system, and the dataframe also has the same coordinate system). The scale is set to 1:250 000. In the result file data has an offset (if I measure in the map the offset is at least 300 meters). The more I move to the right in the result picture the larger the offset (distortion) is, and since I used quite a large layout frame the offset is quite big en the right side of the image. Does anyone know how export a geotiff without getting this problem? Is it a known arcgis 10 problem (I haven't found any information about it)?
