Is there a way to batch export rasters with 4 bands to rasters with 3 bands?

I am able to add each raster to my ArcMap session and export them one at a time by right-clicking and choosing Data, Export Data... and then choosing "Use Renderer" in the resulting dialog box.

I have a bunch or 4-band (R,G,B,NIR) imagery and I'm trying to convert them to R,G,B for additional processing in another software program.

If there's a better way, I'm all ears!

Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

For 'Batch' export (conditionally), I share the same idea to request ArcGIS 10.x having this capability as sooner as possible. Pls refer to the post at http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/85826-Exporting-rasters-as-a-batch-in-ArcMap?p=303823&viewfull=1#po...

For specific band(s) export, for sure you can. The easy solution is:

Step 1: create/load into MD;
Step 2: use the function called 'Extract Bands' in the chain for 321;
Step 3: export individually as same procedure as you done.

For image processing in operation (dealing with massive multispectral rasters and /or panchromatic) , personally, it is still challenging for ArcGIS 10.x to 'effectively' do those tasks to meet high-level needs, including rectification (with/without GCP), pansharpening, and color-correction among rasters overall......
