Editing forms in ArcPad10

I am new to ArcPad.  I want to create forms, but whenever I do the fields are never on the pages that I want.  They end up being broken up and I can't seem to organize it to the point where it makes sense.  What am I doing wrong, and how should I go about editing my forms so the fields are on the right pages?

Are you editing an AXF that you have checked out?  You can check a feature class out to AXF using the ArcPad Data Manger toolbar and then open that AXF within ArcPad Studio and edit the forms, etc.  If not, for what type of data are you trying to customize in ArcPad Studio?
