I've joined a shapefile with a database (access, not a very complex one).
during edit sessions I can edit the fields of the shapefile but not the ones from the database.. I can read, refresh etc. but if I want to edit the database I have to open it with access and work on it simultaneously..
what did I miss?
is it a problem that the files are on different folders?
