drawing curves from minimal data, ArcEditor

Well, since the old forums seem to have fallen off the face of the earth, thus making them un-searchable ...

 

ArcEditor 10.2.1 -

Do any of you good folks know how to draw polyline curves if you have only curve length (not chord) and radius? I can eyeball an end point if necessary, and can snap to a beginning point.

ESRI tech support is chewing on the question, but no results yet.

 

I've tried the tools available on the Editor toolbar, with no luck.

Try using the Curve Calculator. I believe it is on the COGO toolbar. You should be able to enter the radius and arc length and it should give the rest of the parameters you are looking for.
