Is ESRI planning to do anything with LIDAR intensity data as far as being able to just symbolize it?
As it is now in Arc 10.2, to get a intensity image it must be created and added as a layer. What is desired is to be able to symbolize
it using the intensity attribute. Under layer properties, symobology there is an option to add a renderer. The options in that renderer
list things such as LAS point elevation and LAS attribute. It would be beneficial to be able to choose intensity from this screen
without having to use the LAS dataset to raster tool. Is there a way to add this to the 10.2 version of Arc?
